The Official website suggests the band is still an active entity, but only gives details of separate tours by Hayward and Lodge? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:16, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The Moody Blues is not currently active. The group ended with Ray Thomas' death and the remaining members could no longer conduct business as The Moody Blues, since Thomas was an original licensee and copyright holder. When a copyright holder dies, everything stops. It's all bootleggers trying to promote their illegal albums, which violate copyright, licensing and intellectual property laws. All The Moody Blues albums are only on Deram, which forever holds the license to Moody Blues Music publications. 2600:8805:C03:800:E0E1:D9E3:FE1A:F7B3 (talk) 21:49, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reference #87. Moody Bluegrass.

[edit]

This article is only about the UK band The Moody Blues. It cannot include a US Nashville band named Moody Bluegrass, which deviates from the title of the article. Moody Bluegrass has nothing to do with the band The Moody Blues, except it's a cover band which cannot promote itself on some other Wikipedia article. 2600:8805:C03:800:E0E1:D9E3:FE1A:F7B3 (talk) 21:45, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Discography

[edit]

The last official and legal The Moody Blues album was "The Other Side of Life." All of The Moody Blues music was published on Deram Records which still holds the license to all of The Moody Blues music. After Ray Thomas' death, all production of The Moody Blues Music stopped since Thomas was an original member and a copyright holder and licensee. All albums produced after "The Other Side of Life" are illegal and bootleg and they violate copyright, licensing and intellectual property laws. 2600:8805:C03:800:E0E1:D9E3:FE1A:F7B3 (talk) 21:55, 19 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
